Lately, our Tracer-A series MPPT controller and VS-AU series PWM controller passed rigorous testing by SGS and obtained the IEC62509 and IEC62109 certification respectively. IEC62109 is a safety certification of power converters for use in photovoltaic power systems, and IEC62509 is a certification for the functioning and performance of battery charge controllers (BCC) used for photovoltaic systems. Being certified by these two certifications fully demonstrates that, these two EPsolar controller series meet the IEC62109 and IEC62509 standards and requirements on safety and functioning, and can be widely applied in various PV projects.
Tracer-A series controller adopts the advanced MPPT technology, tracks the maximum power point fast in any situation to harvest the maximum power from the PV modules, and significantly improves the utilization of solar energy. Its local LCD screen and remote meter realize dual display function, make it easy for the user to monitor the real-time operational status of the system. Tracer-A also has RS485 port with standard Modbus protocol, easy for the user to extend the application, so as to greatly meet the various monitoring requirements in different applications, such as telecom base station, home system, street lighting, field monitoring, etc.
VS-AU series controller is a newly launched series, specially developed for the solar home system, and featured with high practicability. It uses world famous brand ST/IR’s high quality and low failure rates devices, to ensure the service life of the controller. Its outer case continues to use high-quality industrial casing, and the wiring terminals all passes UL & VDE certifications. It owns a big LCD screen, and dual USB outputs, which can satisfy the requirements for checking system status and charging electronic equipment.
Obtaining these two new certifications, fully shows that EPsolar’s strong strength in product development, and proves again that EPsolar is leading in the field of the solar charge controller. The new certifications would also raise the international competitiveness of our products, and enhance the force of our expanding in the global market.
